Affinity Solutions has been a DVT / Cognex Certified Integrator since 1999 and has solved many inspection and tracking applications using the DVT camera. Affinity Solutions has the engineering resources, machine building capabilities, control experience, and vision system experience needed to successfully integrate machine vision into new or existing manufacturing process. We also provide consulting and programming for any machine vision or controls project. Machine vision is a relatively new technology that allows a higher level of process monitoring than has previously been possible. Machine vision allows 100% part inspection even at high process speeds. If you have a quality challenge that remains an issue, no matter how many inspectors you've assigned to it, then machine vision may be your answer. Machine vision can detect defects that are almost impossible for human inspectors to see consistently and reliably. In addition, machine vision is commonly used to identify different parts as they move down a line directing them to different process areas, identify part features for reorientation, and measure part features sending the measurement information to a controller for automatic process adjustments.
